A beautiful, very cozy boutique hotel.
Very well maintained & super clean rooms.
The breakfast was varied & tasteful. The location is 1A, all important stations can be reached within 5 minutes on foot. Franshoek is a very idyllic place, with a lot of charm.
We'd love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Ashbourne Guest House! Courtney and Cindy greeted us with a glass of wine and made us feel at home right away. The room was very spacious and clean. The fridge was stocked with many different choices and there were snacks available in the room too (both for purchase). Breakfast in the morning is freshly made baked goods, fruits, meats, cheeses and a full hot menu to choose from (including dim sum of all things!). The B&B is walking distance to both the main street and the wine tram. It’s safe at night and load shedding wasn’t an issue as they have generators. We stayed in the poolside room and would recommend anyone stay there. It’s a very peaceful and quiet B&B.

Lovely guesthouse with attention to detail with keeping the guest in mind. Small special touches like welcome snacks, good coffee machines in rooms, smart tv, etc. made it really class-apart! The decor not only in the rooms but also common areas was so well put-together and beautiful. The staff especially is so courteous and friendly, we really loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay…highly recommended…thank you Cindy and Courtney for your hospitality! 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. Cindy and staff couldn't do enough to make it a comfortable stay. The owners were warm and hospitable. Comfortable warm, clean rooms. Great location! Our young kids were very kindly accommodated.

We enjoyed our weekend at Ashbourne House tremendously. Cindy received us with a glass of wine and made us feel at home. Tim (owner) also welcomed us.
The room was spacious with a great view.
Load shedding was not an issue due to the use of renewable energy.
Overall great experience.
